Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the farmilyGO platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

farmilyGO is an online marketplace that connects consumers with local farms in Ontario, Canada. The platform facilitates product purchases, farm experience bookings, and rural accommodation stays. farmilyGO is not a party to transactions between consumers and farms.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Farmers (Sellers)

• Farm listings must be accurate and not misleading.
• Farmers are responsible for product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Farmers must honour confirmed orders and bookings.
• farmilyGO charges a platform fee on each completed transaction.
• Farm accounts require approval before listings go live.

5. Consumers (Buyers)

• All purchases are final unless the farm's cancellation policy permits otherwise.
• You must provide accurate contact and delivery information.
• Reviews must reflect genuine, first-hand experiences.
• You may only review products or services you have purchased through the platform.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. farmilyGO does not store payment card data. Prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes where shown.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Posting false or misleading information.
• Circumventing platform fees by transacting outside farmilyGO.
• Harassment, abuse, or threatening other users.
• Automated access or scraping without written permission.
• Using the platform for illegal activities.

8. Limitation of Liability

farmilyGO is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or availability of products or services offered by farms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you to farmilyGO in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
